Oh Wow – Only 3 Weeks of School Left!


I know, some of you are saying, what do you mean, only 3 weeks left!  It
sounds like an eternity sometimes, yeh?  There are so many fun things left
in these last few weeks that it will go fast – let’s all finish strong!

In the book of Galatians, Paul reminds us not to grow weary in doing good,
for in due season, we will reap if we do not lose heart.  Don’t you just
love the encouragement in God’s word!



SBCS Rummage Sale, Tomorrow (Saturday,) May 16th @ 8AM!

Last call for donations - time to get rid of all that “clutter” that you no
longer want in your house!  Please donate your “clutter” to the SBCS Rummage
Sale and we will turn it into “treasure” for the school!

The SBCS Rummage Sale, sponsored by our wonderful PTSO, will be held on
Saturday, May 16th, from 8AM to 2PM.

If you have been waiting to bring in donations, wait no longer!  Our crew
will be here Friday evening labeling and back again at 6:30AM to get last
minute items ready for sale by 8AM.

Our wonderful 3rd Graders will be selling hot dogs, chili & rice, and drinks
as a fundraiser for their Maui trip later this month.  Hey, the word on
campus is that their Redondo chili hotdogs are “ono-licious” – come and find
out for yourselves!



Ms. Judie Peterson – An Update & Answered Prayer!

As you may already know, our P.E. teacher Judie Peterson underwent surgery
on her leg this week at Queen’s Hospital.  The answered prayer is that
everything went OK, Judie is in great spirits, and she is well on her way to
recovery – Praise the Lord!

For those of you who want to visit, call, or send cards & flowers, she is in
Pauahi Tower, room #708.  While she doesn’t want anybody to make the long
trip to Honolulu to visit her, I know she loves the company!  Don’t let her
“politely” talk you out of visiting – surprise her!  Ha!  Just be aware that
she is still “on the mend” and needs her rest also.  If you can't go in, you
can call her at 538-9011 and give her name & room number.  We love you
Judie!



SBCC Board of Directors Votes on the 2009-2010 School Year!

On Thursday night, May 14th, the SBCC Board of Directors voted to approve
the new school year at SBCS!  A big mahalo to Board Chairperson Gloria
Canada, as well as her dedicated directors Ete Savini, George Cox, Bernie
Rzeplinski, Scott Langford, and Pastor Glen Powell for their support of our
school!



Tuition Payments – Are We Current?

Just a friendly reminder – if you are not caught up with your tuition
payments, please do so before the end of the school year.  If you are not
able to do that, please contact your friendly office to make other
arrangements.  Mahalo!
